What do you call an accomplished artist/critically acclaimed photographer/director/award-winning art director? At AFG&, we call him Yücel. Mr. Erdogan began his career at Publicis for Max Factor. He joined AFG& in 1999, winning and developing ground breaking work for Bacardi, Tumi, Sally Hansen, Fortunoff, St. Regis, and Carrera y Carrera. After a brief stint partnering with Sean “P Diddy” Combs to help catapult CIROC vodka to the fastest-growing spirit in the world, Yücel returned to AFG& in 2015. We’re richer for it.
Mesh has worked on brands large and small, across multiple categories and industries. He is a man with great tenacity and passion. He believes the most compelling and persuasive advertising is the right mix of art and craft. The art is finding an insight and spinning it in such a way that moves a consumer toward a brand. The craft is how you serve that insight so a consumer develops a lasting relationship with that brand. When he has accomplished both you can see it in his smile.
Jon is a veteran creative executive with a career spanning all aspects of digital marketing. He’s led creative teams, large and small, to produce award-winning content and digital campaigns for some of the world’s biggest brands. Equal parts blue-sky thinker and data junky, Jon is expert at creating highly-targeted, high-impact content at a high rate of speed, which has produced results for clients like P&G, T-Mobile, Diageo, Nestlé, Aflac, Burger King, Weight Watchers and Gatorade, to name just a few.
There’s a difference between “hearing” and “listening.” Tara gets that. It’s what has helped her build remarkable business partnerships over a 25-year career. She has won awards from IPG for organic growth and from the Ad Council for campaigns to end hate and discrimination, both of which demonstrate that Tara’s approach is hands-on. Augie once dreamt of being a copywriter. But the only agency job he could find after college was in accounting. He kinda liked it. He went back to school and got an MBA in finance. Fast-forward twenty years and Augie has held senior positions at Havas, Omnicom, and IPG. Renowned for vendor relations and for creating buying power across agency organizations, Augie helms the overall financial operations and diversity efforts of AFG&. He is a coolly efficient manager and numbers guy who also believes that the heart and soul of our business is creative.

He is the brains behind and author of AFG’s proprietary SEAL strategic process, which guides the way we think and the work we do. His far-reaching global branding experience means that he thinks beyond borders and across cultures. And he’s a champion of simple, universal storytelling to create campaigns that resonate and elevate. Based on the West Coast, Jonathan currently guides Nestle Purina brands in the United States, Latin America and Europe.
